Please Join Us for a FREE Long Island Wind Power Education Forum

Please join us on Thursday, October 27 for a FREE wind power forum sponsored by CCE and reLI (Renewable Energy Long Island). The forum will bring together clean energy advocates, businesses, and researchers to provide accurate information and separate myths from the facts about wind power. The discussion will include the environmental benefits of wind power, offshore options for Long Island, backyard wind ordinances, micro-turbines, and more. We are encouraging the public, along with policy makers and public officials, to join CCE in learning more about wind power and the options that exist for Long Island.

Date: Thursday, October 27, 2011
Time:
1:00pm-4:00pm
Where: Melville Marriott, Nassau Room, 1350 Old Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY

  • Adrienne Esposito (Citizens Campaign for the Environment)
  • Gordian Raacke (Renewable Energy Long Island)
  • Al Harsch (GreenLogic Energy)
